Pilgrimages

I am pleased to share that our pilgrimage for 2012 is confirmed and ready to go!

Our pilgrimage will also include a pre-tour extension to visit Cappadocia for those interested in a journey into the church’s history!  The standard pilgrimage will include journeys to the seven churches of Revelation as well as some of the important destinations of the Apostle Paul.  Our time in Turkey will be a rewarding one as we experience the early days of the church as it spread across Asia Minor.  After a two-night cruise of the Greek Islands, we arrive in Athens for our extended tour of Greece.  Here we continue walking in the footsteps of the Apostles as we visit, Athens, Corinth and Thessaloniki.  We conclude our voyage with a stop in Rome to experience beauty and history of this ancient city.

The pilgrimage is open to all persons!  We welcome anyone who wishes to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity.  Please contact me directly at revcraig@sothumc.org for a registration form.  Registration involves the completion of two forms and the remittance of a deposit both to Shepherd of the Hills and Pilgrim Tours.  I do hope you will plan to join us in the fall of 2012!
